Carlo
Gavazzi Names Bader: David Bader is now national market development manager, U.S., for Carlo
Gavazzi. His focus will be on conventional energy, renewable energy,
plastics/rubber and on policies and strategies for the distributor sales
channel. His previous experience includes work as sales manager for an unnamed
Mid-Atlantic area automation distributor and, before that, for an automation
components manufacturer.
Bridgeport
Lures Beach: Larry Beach Jr. is now technical sales manager for Bridgeport Fittings.
He had been working as a field sales engineer with Hozack Inc., an electrical
manufacturer’s rep.
Colonial
ES Recruits Rodman: John Rodman, who has more than 30 years of electrical industry
experience in the Lancaster-York, Pa. area (and formerly was with Yale
Electric), has joined Colonial Electrical Supply as vice president of the
Western Region.
Eaton
Elevates Foster: David B. Foster, who joined the company in 1993 as a general ledger
accountant, is now vice president of corporate development and treasury. Foster
worked in finance in the automotive group before being named vice president of
finance for the Asia-Pacific region in 2008. Foster replaces Kurt McMaken,
who is now vice president for finance and planning for the Europe, Middle East,
and Africa region for the Electrical Sector.
HCM
Hires Rattie: Edward Rattie is now manager of government sales for Hitachi Cable
Manchester. He’s said to have a “substantial knowledge of government
purchasing” and experience in the military.
ILSCO
Adds & Promotes:
- Scott
Bosecker comes
to Ilsco from GENCO Supply Chain Solutions, where he was an operations
supervisor. He’s now consignment coordinator.
- Stephen R.
Bruns was
promoted to the newly created position of marketing research manager for the
OEM division. Hired in 2005, Bruna had worked as a quotations analyst in OEM
until this move.
- Daniel
Held is now a
customer service rep for the OEM division, he is a recent graduate of Ohio
State.
- Colleen
Morgan was
recently promoted to quotations analyst in the OEM division. She was hired in
October 2007 as a temporary employee working as a customer service rep. She
became a full-time employee in July 2008.
- Sandy
Saunders, who
has been with Ilsco for seven years, has been promoted from consignment
coordinator to customer service supervisor.
Lincoln
Names Mapes COO: Lincoln Electric Holdings named Christopher Mapes, who was already on
the company’s board of directors, its chief operating officer. Mapes was, at
the time of his hiring, an EVP at A.O. Smith Corp. and president of that
company’s Electrical Products unit.
Service
Wire Adds Two In Sales: Dave
Dusl (Houston)
and Rick Mayday (Phoenix) have been added to the company’s sales team.
Dusl, who will manage accounts in Arkansas, Kansas, Oklahoma and western Missouri,
has several years of sales experience. Mayday brings with him 25 years of sales
experience, working for “several manufacturers” in “multiple parts of the
electrical industry.”
