Crystal Simmons |
Crystal Simmons has been named the vice president of
operations at Griffith Electric Supply Co., Inc. Simmons has been with Griffith
Electric since 1990. She began her career picking orders. She then moved to
several other positions in the company, including counter sales and counter
manager. She most recently served as the warehouse manager. In her new role,
Simmons will help with operational issues at all Griffith Electric locations. |
Ron Kaczmarek |
Ron Kaczmarek has been appointed the branch manager
at Griffith Electric's Langhorne, Pa. branch-the newest location for the
company. Kaczmarek, a 40-year industry veteran, has worked at Griffith Electric
in the project department for more than two years. |
Jim Carson |
Jim Carson has been hired as an inside sales/counter representative
at the Griffith Electric branch in Langhorne, Pa. Carson has more than 25 years
of industry experience. He previously worked at Arnold Electric.

Promotion at Lumen Sonepar Canada
Serge Leblanc |
Former vice president of marketing for Lumen (a unit of
Sonepar Canada), Serge Leblanc, has been named president of Lumen in
Quebec. Leblanc will take the place of Francois Anquetil. Leblanc joined Lumen
in 1997. In 2002, he was named vice president of sales and marketing. Prior to
his time with Lumen, Leblanc spent 10 years working at Crouse-Hinds. In total,
he has 20 years of experience in the industry. |
Industry Alum Named CEO at Applied Industrial Technologies
Neil Schrimsher, former executive vice president at
Cooper Industries, has been named the new CEO at Applied Industrial
Technologies. Schrimsher will also be appointed to the company’s board of
directors following the annual shareholder meeting. Schrimsher is replacing
David Pugh on the board of directors. Pugh recently announced that he would
step down from the board. Prior to his time with Cooper Industries, Schrimsher
worked for Siemens Energy & Automation. He began his career in the
electrical industry in 1984 at General Electric Company.
