Robert O'Keefe of Westport, R.I. died on Feb. 14 at the age of 85.
In addition to being a military veteran, O'Keefe was a long-time employee of Burndy Corp. He spent 35 years working in the customer service, engineering and sales departments. O'Keefe was promoted to manager of electrical distributors and then to director of sales.
During his time with Burndy, O'Keefe was also awarded several patents.
He leaves behind his wife, three sons, one daughter and four grandchildren.
