Chicago-based Evergreen Supply Company, a 25-year-old company which provides lighting and electrical supplies to contractors involved in Chicagoland's largest commercial and industrial construction projects and buildings, has received the Outstanding Distributor Award from Rayovac for the quarter ending December 2011.
Rayovac, a trusted brand of Spectrum Brands Holdings, Inc, which is a leading manufacturer of consumer batteries in the United States and Latin America, presented Evergreen Supply with the achievement award for its loyalty to the brand, commitment to constantly improving sales, and a willingness to involve Rayovac in its efforts. Through its most prestigious distributor award, Rayovac honors its most outstanding industrial suppliers for a variety of achievements, including sales volume, joint marketing efforts and exceptional performance.
Under the leadership of Evergreen Supply Company President Colleen Kramer, the company has delivered significant growth across a multitude of Rayovac products to merit winning the Outstanding Distributor Award. Evergreen Supply Company's Rayovac's product sales in the fourth quarter of 2011 were more than 14 times higher than the same quarter a year ago.
Evergreen Supply won the State of Illinois contract in 2011. Since then, Rayovac's business with the company has grown and now includes stocking Evergreen Supply with a full line of Rayovac Indestructible lights.
