Active Electrical Supply and Fox Lighting Galleries recently made a donation of over $30,000 in lighting and supplies to benefit Habitat for Humanity in Elgin, Illinois.

"We wanted to give back to the community within which we operate," states Co-Presidents Linda Fox and Susan Swan.  "This is the best way to utilize such a large volume of discontinued but perfectly good track lighting, recessed lighting, trims, and even some commercial lighting items," they explain.

Habitat for Humanity will be selling the items donated by Active through its ReStore located at 800 North State Street in Elgin, Illinois.  ReStore Elgin is a 40,000 sq. ft. building materials reuse center benefiting Habitat for Humanity of Northern Fox Valley.  ReStore accepts donated new and gently used goods from retailers, manufacturers, distributors, contractors and homeowners. Building supplies are then sold, at greatly reduced prices, to the general public.
